Heidi Louise (Gottfried) Alonzo

  • A contemporary artist focusing on narrative, figurative, and scenic artwork using a variety of painting and drawing media, who has been painting by the Monterey Bay in Santa Cruz County and the Pajaro Valley for over 35 years.
  • Visual arts teacher, Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) Department Chair at St. Francis High School, Salesian College Preparatory from 2004 to present.
  • Education:
    Master of Arts in Teaching, California Single Subject Teaching Credential in Art from Chapman University.
    Bachelor of Fine Arts degree specializing in painting and drawing from San Jose State University.
    Associate in Arts degree from Cabrillo College.
  • An Open Studio's artist for over 14 years from 1999 to the present, her work is exhibited in numerous locations throughout the Monterey Bay region and in private collections throughout the United States.
